CES 2014 What's coming up this year?

CES 2014 ist going to start this week. First press conferences started yesterday and continue on Monday.

My "pick of the day" is the Peeble Steel, the new Pebble watch in stainless steel design. See pics and first impressions here or watch Sascha Pallenberg showing the new models.

The "blackout of the day" for sure was Michael Bay's stumbling out of the presentation at the Samsung press conference. See this extract below.

I will post any video stream I can find of the most important events taking place.

Any CES day you will find 5 must see things at CNET, too.

The first stream I found is the one of the Nvida press conference. You can watch the full clip here

Watch live video from NVIDIA on TwitchTV

To be continued. LG press conf. just started. Think, there will be no stream on this, but at least TheVerge is doing some good Live blogging on the event .

Samsung is on schedule, too.

A good overview on the upcoming activities this Monday can be found here.

It shows, that many of the big names, like Sharp, Monster, Panasonic, Huawei, Asus, Intel, Toyota, Samsung, AMD, Epson and Sony will have press conferences today and also the official Intel CES opening keynote will take place in the afternoon.

"Intel CEO Brian Krzanich will deliver a pre-show keynote address at the 2014 International CES, the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies" (source cesweb.org).

A full video stream documentation is on CNET's live stream over the whole day!

Also some first clips are made available on http://www.cesweb.org/News/CES-TV

Samsung had a big press conference, too. Just watch it here. Conference starts at 33 minutes.

Pebble, the kickstarter crowdfunded smartwatch intruduced last year, today also announced some nice updates to be found here. Content starts at about 5 minutes.
